Terms of Service
Effective October 9, 2026
The short version
- Kaiphy helps you practice interviews. It doesn’t promise you a job.
- Feedback comes from AI. It’s usually useful, sometimes wrong, and always yours to judge.
- What you upload and say stays yours. You let us use it only to run Kaiphy for you.
- Use it to practice honestly: not to get live help in a real interview, and not to access anyone else’s data.
- You can stop using Kaiphy and delete your account whenever you like.
The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Navsan LLC (“Kaiphy”, “we”, “us”) for your use of the Kaiphy website and app. By creating an account or using Kaiphy, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and forms part of these terms.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Kaiphy.
- Give accurate details when you sign up, and keep your password safe. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
- An account is for one person. Don’t share it or create one for someone else.
- Tell us at support@kaiphy.com if you think someone else has got into your account.
The service
Kaiphy runs mock interviews with an AI interviewer for the jobs you add, then gives you a report, action items, lessons and a coach, Kai, to help you prepare.
Kaiphy is free to use today. We may introduce paid plans later. If we do, we’ll tell you the price and what it includes before you’re charged anything, and nothing you’ve already made will be locked away without notice.
We keep improving Kaiphy, so features may change, and we may pause the service briefly for maintenance. If we ever shut a major part of it down, we’ll give you reasonable notice and a chance to delete or ask for a copy of your data.
AI feedback
Interviews, scores, reports, lessons and Kai’s replies are produced by AI models. They’re meant to help you practice, and they can be inaccurate, incomplete or inconsistent. Treat them as one input, not the final word.
- A score or a “Ready” readiness level is practice feedback, not a prediction of how a real interviewer or employer will judge you.
- We don’t guarantee interviews, offers or any other outcome.
- Nothing in Kaiphy is legal, financial, immigration or professional career advice.
Your content
“Your content” means everything you add to Kaiphy: job descriptions, resumes, what you say and type in interviews, recordings, practice answers and chats. You keep all your rights to it.
You give us permission to store, process and transmit your content, including to the providers named in our Privacy Policy, only as needed to run Kaiphy for you. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies the Privacy Policy says we keep for a limited time.
You’re responsible for your content. Please make sure that:
- you have the right to upload it, such as a job description you’ve been given;
- it doesn’t include other people’s personal information beyond what practice needs;
- no one else is recorded without their agreement if you record an interview with others nearby.
The reports, lessons and other material Kaiphy writes for you are yours to use for your own preparation.
Acceptable use
When using Kaiphy, don’t:
- break the law or anyone else’s rights;
- use it to get live help during a real interview, test or assessment, or pass off its material as your own where that isn’t allowed;
- try to access other people’s accounts or data, or get around security or limits;
- copy, scrape, resell or reverse engineer Kaiphy, or use bots to access it, except as the law allows;
- upload malware, or anything abusive, hateful, sexual or meant to harass, or try to make the AI produce such content;
- overload the service or interfere with other people’s use of it;
- pretend to be someone else.
We may remove content, limit features or suspend accounts that break these rules, and we’ll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
Kaiphy’s rights
Kaiphy’s software, design, name and logo belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use Kaiphy for preparing for interviews, and nothing more. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
Other services
Kaiphy relies on other providers, such as AI model providers and Google if you sign in with it. Their services are covered by their own terms, and we aren’t responsible for services we don’t control.
Ending your use
You can stop using Kaiphy at any time and delete your account from your profile, which deletes your content as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or when the law requires it. Where we reasonably can, we’ll warn you first and give you a chance to download or delete your content. The parts of these terms that by their nature should last, such as the disclaimers and limits on liability, continue to apply.
Disclaimers
Kaiphy is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can’t be waived.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost job opportunities, lost income or lost data, and our total liability to you for anything relating to Kaiphy is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 100.
These limits don’t apply to liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be handled by the state and federal courts located in Texas. If you live somewhere whose laws give you the right to bring claims at home, you keep that right.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Kaiphy changes. If a change matters, we’ll tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless it’s needed sooner for legal or security reasons. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account before then.
